Default Selecting all the regions to th Right of the cursor

Can anyone tell me how to select from the cursor to the farthest right region on a track. If I press down arrow, everything from the cursor to the left (all the way to the beginning is selected. So, you would think that, if you pressed the up arrow, everything to the right of the cursor would be selected.......but no.
I did figure that if you Shift/Option/Return it will select everything to the very end of the session, but on many tracks, the regions do not go all the way to the end of the session.
Thanks

The down arrow marks the current timeline position as the start of a region and the up arrow marks it as the end of a region. To mark from the current timeline location push the down arrow... to extend the region to the end of the session.. press Shift+Option+Return (Option + Return takes you to the end of the session.. the shift modifier extends your selection).

How is this different than what you want?
