Default ProTools 12 and Command 8

Hi,

Is anyone using PT12 with a Command 8? I know it's not officially supported in PT11, but it still seems to work fine. Is this still the case with version PT12?

Thanks

Works as usual, far as I can tell.

Same here. No issues with 11 as well as 12.4.

Working fine here Best budget controller they ever made. I don't use any of it's audio side, but as a moving fader controller for PT it's great.

You can still buy the faders (v.easy to replace with basic soldering skills i.e. you have to de solder the little wiring loom from the old fader and re solder it to the new one)

The original PSU is a bit under specced and tends to fail, but as it's just a transformer in a box it's easy to make a replacement.

And the best thing about it? Assignable plugin controls. You get to choose which plugin parameters are assigned to each knob/button. Priceless

Hey Everyone,

I just replaced my DM-3200 with a Command|8. I'm running 12HD Native.

Do I set the C8 up as HUI?

Thanks! I didn't know if there was a Command|8 driver that needed to be installed under PT12 (as it's not officially supported) or if it needed to work under HUI mode or something.

I appreciate the help. I'll let you all know how I make out!

I didn't load any driver, it's most likely inside the PT install
