Default Can you use parallels on leopard with 7.4?

Hey guys,
I am a new pro tools user and I just got a new imac which I cant yet use but I really want to get started. Can I run the PC version on the mac until the update for leopard comes out?

Not with Parallels. Parallels shares resources with the MAC OS, so you would be cutting your CPU power/memory in half.

Boot Camp with XP runs Pro Tools fairly well on my Mac Book, but I'm still using Boot Camp 1.4 for now (until the end of the month, that is). The Dual-Core hotfix for XP has to be applied, and it's usually necessary to turn off the wireless network, but I haven't had any major issues.
