It's not clear, but I assume the OP is talking about having all underlying playlists follow the edits of a top playlist. The only way to make that happen is to have all playlists displayed when making the edit. It's painful when you've got hundreds of tracks and dozens (or hundreds) of playlists, but it's the only way. I've wished forever for an "edit all playlists" checkbox, but not yet...
