Default downgrading to 12.5.2

Howdy,
I have 12.6 up and running but it has two minor bugs that interrupt my workflow way too aggressively and I'd like to revert to 12.5.2.

Do I just run the installer for 12.5.2 the way I would run a new version of Pro Tools to install? Not sure I need a clean install as the bugs are definitely tied to 12.6.

So far, the killers for me are:

- preserve fades option not preserving fades

- (this one is weird) I can't separate regions that I've selected pieces of. If the playhead is stationary, I can hit command+e or just "b" but if I highlight a part of a region, command+e and "b" bring up the rename clip window. I have to hit "h" or I think even "j" works. Its so weird. I deleted preferences, etc and the issue was resolved for about an hour. Then it reverted back. Can't go trashing those things every twenty minutes.

Thanks!!

Make sure you delete the current protools 12.6 app from your applications folder, after you can safely reinstall protools 12.5.2

If you change the name of PT12 by adding the version number to application name you can install PT 12.5 right next to 12.6
