Pre-Roll invisible playhead

Hi,

When auditioning using the keyboard shortcut opt+cmd+left arrow to play by pre-roll value up to selection start (and ff), the playhead is invisible until it reaches the selection.
is there a way to keep the playhead visible without highlighting pre-roll in the transport window?

CMND+K enables pre-roll. opt+cmd+left arrow will play with the preroll value regardless of if preroll is enabled or not. With preroll enabled, the playhead will appear during playback of the preroll area.

thanks for the answer! you marked the status quo that I know. I was actually looking for a way to see the running playhead always especially in the opt+cmd+left arrow mode, not only when preroll is enabled (because I dont want to switch all the time and mostly I do not need preroll)

If you are on PT HD:

Keep Pre-Roll turned on.

If you want to play without Pre-Roll press 0 on the numeric keypad, if you want to play with Pre-Roll press Spacebar.

Thanks for the hint with the URL - the linkes address was not correctly set up. It's working now.

Just for your information, it's the same behaviour here, no matter if you press 6 or Cmd+Option+LeftArrow the cursor doesn't show during Pre-Roll. So I doubt that there's anything you can do.
