Smile MIDI keyboard doesn't trigger sounds on time

i have a axiom 49 im trying to make a beat on ableton live seems like while im using my midi to make beat it takes a while to recive....for example many times i hit a key on the midi any sound....it will takes about 1-2 second for me to hear it on the hearphone it plays but its just slow to read on ableton live...so all the pro out ther thx for your help if anybody could answer my rookie question...

Perhaps this is more of a question for the Ableton forums...?

That being said... do you know what buffer setting you're using?

my computer is a emachine t3882 cpu 2.Ghz and 1.23 GB of ram and im only using a usb midi controller (keyrig) get at me if u noe the info about the problem
