Default HP xw8600 slot order

We've got an HD4 in an HP xw8600 and whenever I run DigiTest I'm told the core card is in slot 1 (order of 0, 1, 2, 3). According to Digi's install docs and confirming the HP docs, of the 7-slots in the 8600, the Core should be in slot 3, followed by 4, 5 & 6 for Accel cards. Slot 5 also should be changed from 16-bit to 8-bit in the BIOS.

If this is the correct order, shouldn't DigiTest show the core card as 0? I think I remember someone commenting at one point that DigiTest DID read this incorrectly. Was I dreaming up an excuse, here?

Thanks...

This is the correct order and Digitest does show the incorrect order on some systems. We'll have that fixed in a future version of Digitest.

Are you experiencing any problems with this config?

No. It's in a remote HDTV truck fed from an SSL C200 console with 128-channels of MADI. I had some issues last week, but it ended up being changed settings on the SSL DeltaLink (MADI to Digi convertor). Sync kept changing which, I believe, may have gone back to the cs3 update. All good now.

BTW, I did confirm the physical card order is correct, and seem to remember our dealer mentioning the 'digitest' problem before. Thanks!
