For those that don't already know, http://protools.ideascale.com/a/idea...stage/progress shows the 12 reported "bugs" that were "addressed" in Version 12.1.

An ideascale entry marked "In Progress" does not mean that the fix has been implemented, as far as I am aware. That's what the "Completed" tag is for. But these do say "Addressed in 12.1," so I don't know what's going on

The only good thing PT12.1 has going for it is HEAT…let's be honest. The rest is a disaster. I can't even get my scroll wheel to work on my trackball 90% of the time…so, we do the mix in 11HD, then bounce over to our 12HD partition, turn on HEAT and finalize the mix…

Disgraceful.

I still get this in 12.1 "When importing tracks from another session, the bus names do not always import". I'm honestly not sure what they actually fixed in 12.1. I'm still seeing AAE errors that have been there since 11 came out. I do like Heat though.

I have a Pro Tools 12 license and can download the product.

But I'm afraid to incase it screws up waves / speakerphone / source connect plugins.

I know how long it takes companies to adapt to new Pro Tools versions so I'll probably stay on 11 until i'm forced to switch!

Really like getting new stuff though
