= key keypad no longer highlights transport #'s -Mac Catalina latest version ProTools

Hi all

I cant figure this out... maybe I hit a random incorrect button?

= key (in the right key keypad) Mac Catalina (correction... not Sierra.)

it no longer highlights transport #'s - Mac Sierra -latest version ProTools

no, i havent hit a-z button

yes i just trashed all my preferences, restarted, rebuilt all the prefs. Same issue.

only think i can think of is that the one = keyboard button has died... that is the one thing i havent tried yet - trying a different keyboard.

anyone else ever have this issue?

Can't speak to Sierra. But in High Sierra it still works fine.

(Also, I have no idea how you are sticking to Sierra -- there have been a few Pro Tools and plugin problems tied specifically to Sierra now)

Haven't seen this, but - and I know this sounds really stupid - is it possible that you have a counter window open on another screen (or even off screen)? I *have* done that, and sat there hitting the "=" key and wondering why it's not entering into the transport bar, restart PT, same thing, about 5 minutes later I realize it's entering into the counter window over on that screen that I'm not looking at...duh!
