Default task window recalcuting waveform

hi all!

i'm wondering if anyone has encountered this ......

everytime we open a certain session, it insists on recalcuting the waveforms in the task window (about 5 to 6 minutes),

it is session that has been relinked in terms of the session's relationship to its audio files. the session has then been 'copied as' on to another drive along with it's video file and audio files.
and it still happens.

is there a way to stop this from happening everytime. shouldn't the waveforms be saved in the session, or waveform cache? there is no waveform cache in the session folder either.

cheers,
paul
