Default artist mix 1 ethernet port

my desktop only has 1 Ethernet port. can I get a splitter (http://www.mcmelectronics.com/produc..._campaign=bing) like this and attach it to my Ethernet internet cable while the other half is attached to my artist mix?

Apparently you need a switch/hub

I think Getting an Ethernet Hub is the best way to go.

Hub and switch is maybe the same thing but in sweden they call it a Hub.

They are not the same thing, a "hub" is a different type of device that is obsolete.

THanks everyone for the feedback. Robert can you send me a link to what I need to buy?

Also, how would I connect this switch? Ethernet Cable from the wall to my switch, and switch out to my CPU and artist mix?
