Pro Tools Session won't open

I recently purchased Pro Tools 8 M-Powered less than a month ago. I just started re-mixing a project with 28 tracks and spent about 8 hours editing. I saved my work often and enabled backups as well. I closed the session and PT and came back to it a few hours later and it would not open. PT will open and get to the "open session" screen, let me choose the session and then begin loading and then crash. PT just shuts off completely. None of the backup files will load either. After a few hours and a lot of frustration I gave up and started working on another session I started with just 12 drum tracks, had about 10 backups and the same problems. I was able to recover one of the backups and only loose half of my work. I noticed that the file I recovered was the one right before I created my AUX tracks. Anybody have any suggestions or possible solution. This is a very unacceptable problem and I'm in danger of loosing my client.

If u have plug ins that ur trying to use that are not up to par(up to date) then u will have that problem as this is what it sounds like & is NOT any problem on PT's end but urs needless to say... Only bringing it to mention that way because of what u say is unacceptable... Quite sure u didn't take a look @ these that are pretty much required for new posters/members before posting...
