Default Bug - Video scrambled

Just wondering if any of you guys experienced this. Every few hours my video gets completely scrambled and I have to shut down and reopen and then it's back to normal. Is it an issue with h.264?

I have not seen that. How are you displaying the video, as a regular quicktime window on your desktop?

By any chance are you using a Macbook Pro 2008 non unibody model with Nvidia grafix. If so there is an extended hardware recall because these cards have a high failure rate. I'm just waiting form mine to go bang.

Hi guys, I'm displaying the video on an external LCD TV via Pro Tools. I've been working on 7.3 for the last couple years and finally upgraded to 8, so I wasn't sure if this was a normal bug.

It's running on an iMac with a ATI Radeon HD 2600.
