Default Recreating a Sound

If I knew what to call it, I would have searched for it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Scobuo_LCxQ

At 3:25 in the above video, Will puts on his hat, and there is this Bass dropping sound that I wish to learn how to create. I'm not asking for a finished file, but some guidance of what to research or try.
.
Like, "You're gonna end up needing 3 tracks: one for instrument X, one for Wobble, etc., and about 19 filter/gate/EQs."
.
Make sense?

OK...So in Audacity, he takes a sin wave and lowers the frequency over time.
Is this the suggested way, or does Pro Tools have other options?

You can do the same thing in Pro Tools printing your sine wave and using Vari-Fi.

Yeah sine wave and Vari-Fi is a very fast way of doing it.

Don’t forget to layer something on the attack for the impact. Kik drum with a bit of reverb, door slam with a bit of reverb... you get the idea.

But of saturation and compression can add some tone and glue to the whole thing. Bit of mild distortion mixed in parallel.

Get creative!

So, how do you do this in PTF? I’m figuring with the signal generator, but I have not been able to figure out the steps.
I find decade old posts about adding a sine wave to things, but can you make a “pure” tone like the video?

Why screw around with PTFirst since you cant use much of plugins you would need so just google the drop and you’ll find thousands of free versions of those old sounds that really is an out of date sample sound kot used much and especiqlly not in music these days. Too old and everyone already done did it

Am 100% sure we have about 1000000000000 of them samples if you can’t find what you need online. There are many versions and you would start with an 808 long tune kick and add to taste.

Remember when watching all those utube videos that PT First can’t use 3rd party plugins not purchased thru Avid either marketplace built into First or Avid Website!

Soooo, don't ask "how to" questions in the Getting Started section of this forum?
.

If you read my OP, I am not looking for a finished file. I am looking to learn how to use the software I currently have. Regardless if it is to make an overused sound, it is the "How To" that I am after.
.

That being said, is there a detailed source of information about how to use PTF? Something that is written for someone who has never worked with DAWs before? I am mainly interested in how to create / recreate different sounds and what tools are available to me including provided plugins/filters/patching/routing/etc....
.
Where are my helpful peeps who like to see people grow?

I would have resorted to pulling a “Bass Drop” sound effect in the past but this post forced me to do a little research and find out how to recreate the sound from scratch. It was a fun exercise and I’m glad I know more and am able to help someone do the same. I could slap some Waves plug-in on a drum track and it’ll sound good but I’d also rather know exactly what it’s doing and reverse engineer what the plug-in is doing so that I can recreate it with other stock plug-ins. It only further educates the original concepts of audio engineering and I’m all for it.

I don’t have PTF, but I’m curious to know if it comes with vari-fi as well as signal generator? I could show you a simple way to do this.

Just google for youtube tutorials for any PT version, there is nothing more magical to First than it cannot use 3rd party plugins and it is more restricted in i/o counts and such than standard software. Oh, and the projects are stored in a cloud, not local storage (except for backup).
