Default Adding metadata to pro tools export

Hi

Is it possible to add my publishing details to a bounced file prior to exporting to Wave format?

TC

Wave files don't store metadata like publishing. Your first problem

Yes, meta data can be added to Wave files or edited, but is permission based: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-e...ion-windows-10

Also, updating computer name provides some ownership validation as well

Just doesn't seem possible when bouncing files. So maybe I need a separate service like Groove?

You don't understand what you've linked to. Those are local repositories.
BWF has metadata. Standard wave files do not. BWF stores its metadata in the iXML chunk. There are defined parameters for iXML. None of them are "publisher." iXML is not id3, etc like mp3. You can see all objects defined by iXML from the keeper of the standard:
http://www.gallery.co.uk/ixml/

Wave Agent is an iXML/BEXT editor for BWF files. You can see what it can edit (once again, not like an mp3 id tag)
https://www.sounddevices.com/product...gent-software/

In addition, BWF now has an axml chunk. That is only defined for ISRC at the moment.

That makes sense now, thanks for clarifying with that technical explanation. As I am learning, there are other ways to lock in the copyright and ownership rights. Enjoy your weekend
