How to get meaningful support ???
I am trying to find out how to get meaningful support from Avid on ProTools. We paid a lot of money for this product and there is not even an option to call for support? In order to log a support request, you have to fill out a massive and detailed request form.
I tried to look into paid support, and they don't even have prices on the web site. Are there no other options? |

Welcome to the community.
We have simplified the support form at Access the Support Center > My Equipment > Create a Case in my.avid.com (7 fields to documents your issue and product) and Advanced Case is now an option for more involved issues/systems. Phone support is still available from avid.com/learn-and-support/single-incident-support - hope that helps!

This is exactly why I recommend purchasing software from a retailer instead of directly from Avid. Retailers are simply better suited to covering this need(nothing against how Avid handles it, its just too easy for them to get buried). Some good dealers include Parsons Audio, Dale Pro, Alto Music, G Sharp music and GC Pro(especially their bigger locations like Nashville, LA, Boston or NYC). Just a suggestion
