Default Presonus Faderport not working properly with v12.8
Hi,

Presonus Faderport works fine with v12.7.1 and with Studio One/Reaper. Doesn't work properly with v12.8. Motorised fader isn't working and the buttons are intermittent. Have Avid broke HUI?

1) mac or PC ?? what OS ??
2) what version of Presonus Driver ?? any updates available ??

my Oxygen 49 is working fine BUT not a HUI protocol ..

It looks as though I might have been slightly premature. Pro Tools requires the faderport to be enabled in the synchronisation and Machine Control sections. For some reason v12.8 had reset this.

Seems to be working fine now.

awesome !!!! good job troubleshooting .. my Oxygen 49 has to be enabled in Peripherals for machine control .. or i get no functions .. just keys !!!

Don't expect any HUI support from Avid, they broke HUI at PT8.0.5.
As a no longer supported feature.

HUI working fine here with 12.8. They no longer officially support it, but they didn't remove or break it either..

Same here. Seems to be working fine with an SSL AWS948. Only really use it for faders, cut and solo, and switching automation modes. Never use it for plugins.

Exactly. I have 6 HUI devices and all work as they have to including FaderPort on Mac & Win.

There are plenty of HUI functions that no longer work
in PT 12

Which functions no longerwork? I use an original Mackie HUI with PT 12. No function problems here.
