Clip Effects on S4/S6

Just wondering if there's been any thought put into allowing manipulation of the Clip Effects values on a knob module for example?

I know that's really PT-specific so not sure about EUCONization but I can see it being really useful - it could be engaged with Shift-EDIT or something? And the values would auto update as you select each clip.

Also, just so I'm not going insane, there ISN'T a way to do it now right?

100% agree. No current way to do it. Yes, Clip FX uses the Channelstrip algorithm under the hood and we already know how to map that to a knob module. This would be beneficial for all parties.

In the 22.4 release next week you can control Clip Effects from the S6 Master Module with the new Assignable knob feature.

Thanks Eddie - having watched the tech preview I sort of see what you could do there, however i am really thinking of all of the clip fx parameters available on one bucket’s knob module like an EQ or DYN mode - might need more than one page but..

Hopefully it’s something you’ll consider.

We are considering adding them to the Edit knobset, I can't promise a time but its on the list.

I was excited about clip effects until I discovered that they don't map to the EQ/DYN section of Icon controllers. I thought for sure that this would be available on the S6 or even the dock, but it looks like not which is a huge missed opportunity, workflow wise. I edit dialog and mix TV and I'm automating EQ all day long via muscle memory on the D-Command EQ section. I can imagine giving up that workflow to mouse around a tiny little window. Seems like such a step backwards, no?

Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with automating EQ on D-Command or S6. There are already comprehensive implementations for controlling AAX plug-ins in numerous ways on the surface. This is a new implementation, which indeed should happen as it would be exceptionally useful.
