Default Synthesizer with Pictorial Representation

Hey,

does anyone know of a synthesizer that gives you a pictorial representation of the wave forms you're creating? Something that gives a graphic display of the wave form. I'd find it really interesting and useful to know how certain "looks" "sound".

I don't imagine it would be a very difficult thing to do at all, but I've looked and haven't been able to find anything.

McDSP S1 has a real-time waveform display, plus the Waveform Capture.

Or you could put something like an oscilloscope after the synth to help visualise what's going on. This is a great free VST one, s(M)exoscope: http://bram.smartelectronix.com/plugins.php?id=4, though you will need the fxpansion vst to rtas wrapper to use it in Protools land.
