Default using ADAT xt20 converters for inputs

I think I am going to wait until digi upgrades next year before buying a complete TDM system. However, meantime I am looking at a budget system to tide me over.

I was thinking mix core card and an ADAT bridge. I could then use my ADAT xt20 converters for now.

Any opinions?

Also no matter what upgrades they do for osx the adat bridge is still going to work with it (hopefully) as will the free plug ins? and I could also use the mix card in our other studio if it doesn't work with the new gear.

Trouble is we are trying to mix an album and we only have 2 x digi001 at the moment. We have a record company interested in it and we are taking forever to finish it.

thx for the help
