New PT user can't even post here

I found this on GZ:

So I opened a service request at avid 48 hours ago and it still says "case in queue." Then I also started a user on the forums 48 hours ago. It still says "vBulletin Message
Your account has been activated but you are currently in the moderation queue to be added to the forum."

Really Avid? 48 hours and no response? And on top of that I cannot even post in your forums because I am awaiting a mod to approve by request to join?

Can we do anything for this guy?
At least let him on to the DUC. Mods?

I can think of few reasons why forum software put a new user to pre-approve queue, but will not post it here. Will forward this to supermods' attention though.
