Default Is Eleven Rack a dead product?

Will there be anymore expansion packs or updates to the feature set of the Eleven Rack?
Previously I'd been using a Suhr Reactive Load and a Two Notes C.A.B. with Ownhammer IRs. The tones I can get with my 11R "KILL" all that stuff! But I would love to get access to new sounds and I'm happy to pay for them!

it was a dead product when you bought it ... avid acts like they never wanted to put it out ... once again they crap on their customers... sorry if it offends anyone but its true

look at how long it took to get a 64 bit pt

look at the Awesome customer support (NOT)
unless you have to fork over even more money for a service plan

now 11 rack drivers wont work with pt 12 and they have no plans to fix it

I honestly wish it wasn't like that I had protools since pt7 had mbox 1,2,Pro evevenrack ...but soon as another good company comes I'm out... crapping on the 11r I paid money for was the last straw ... hopfully many others will leave too and then avid will respect it customers again ... then I can come back .. I have to pay for support for a product when I was nice enough to choose them in the first place just seems wrong

I don't think it is a dead product, but it isn't getting a lot of love, no..

Working great here with Windows 10 x64, Pro Tools 12.4.

If you're interested in one, buy it for what it does now, not what it might do in the future. If you like the sounds it can make, and the features it offers, then it will continue to work for you.

Avid had to update the driver for El Capitan. That was fairly recently. Otherwise its working fine with PT 12 and with every other Mac/Windows OS, including Windows 10

It is no more dead than a 1975 Plexi

And it sounds as great as it always has.

My two Eleven Racks are among my most trusted, and fun studio gear (one in the studio (pre-amp only), one in the editing suite (main interface)).

@audiomidijace - What sounds can you not get out of it?

PS. I am not using it live, but in the studio it is faster to get great basic sounds (without effects), and sounds better than any competition. Great for recording basic guitar tones, and the chosen effects are a few, but wisely selected ones.

PS. I have not counted how many times I have found it necesarry to ask guitarists with the AxeFX to turn off most of their effects, when they are insisting to record their "record ready" tones. Which in recording usually is waaaay off.

So as a studio tool it is not only faster to get great sounds out of, its basic sounds (amp-cab-mic + a tiny tiny tad reverb) are better than both the Kemper (which of corse are profile dependent) and the AxeFX (basic sounds often washed out in too much effects).
All in my opinion and experience of corse...... YMMV

Did I say I love my 2 Eleven Racks?

Agree, it ain't dead yet, but not getting the attention it deserves either, IMHO.

Working flawlessly here 12.4 on OS X ElCapo both as the interface and as a processor via digital.

It may not be dead. But it's resting.
