Default Just bought an Eleven Rack

I eventually want to expand to recording at least 16 channels. What interfaces can I get to do this?

For Protools LE, you need an 003 or used 002.

For M-Powered there are other options....

Looks to me like you only have two inputs on that Eleven rack. An 002/002 R or 003/003R with an adat interface like a Behringer ADA 8000 will give you 16 ins, but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen with a Eleven rack.

Be fair. It isn't Digidesign's fault. I found out everything I needed to know about it by looking at a picture of it on their website. Maybe it was a retarded bonehead that sold it to you without having a clue what it was......

So once again it is Digi's fault when an uninformed buyer makes the wrong purchase...

Correct this was never advertised to take the place of a 002 or 003.

+ Many...

Buying the right product for what you want to do is NOT highly overrated.

Good for you.

The question isnt what it is or can do. Your previous answer from another post "Pro Tools will only see ONE interface at a time, at least at the LE level. If that is indeed the question....." led me to believe that unless I have a one man band, its use seemed limited to me. I found the product info a bit ambiguous hence my posting. Is it too much to ask for the ability to expand inputs beyond the Eleven Rack?

I didnt make the wrong purchase. The attributes of the Eleven rack were exactly what I needed as i do not own a room full of gear. However, I was uncertain whether or not other interfaces would work in conjuction with it. No one gave me adequate answers to my previous question regarding the matter. Where were you? You didnt offer advice there so why dont you get the F^ off my post now.

I didnt expect it too. However, I would have found it convenient if one could connect another interface to it without having to buy multiple copies of PT.

The products main functions are perfectly adequate for my use. If i have to buy a 003 + M-audio octane and an mbox mini on top of the Eleven to handle each particular purpose i have, then i gues ill have to if i want to do all the things Id like.
