Hello everybody,
I just made the switch to PT9. I'm a total newbie with PT but have been recording now for last 8 yrs. Anywho - I started mixing a session yesterday that a friend gave me. He was in PT 7 or 8 I believe. I loaded it up just fine yesterday and worked on it for about 7 hours. Closed it out, went to dinner, came back and opened it up and worked on it some more. Saved, closed out PT and shut down my PC for the night. Oh yeah, also copied my work to an external hard drive for back up, of course. This morning I come in and load up PT, click Open Session, and select the song I worked on last night. It loads for about 5 seconds and then I get a pop up stating: "Pro Tools Application has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" No error numbers or anything!! Has anyone else come across this? I have PT 9.0.1. Everything on my computer is registered too. Any thoughts you could send my way would be very much appreciated!! Thank you so much for your time!! Shane- |
