2019.5 MIDI events randomly disappearing when copying regions

For your information, just (re)posted following support case re. erratic MIDI editing behaviour. I think it's a previously known issue, but clearly still not resolved.

When copying MIDI regions/selections, with a clear bar-to-bar selection (and everything quantised to grid), MIDI notes of subsequent regions randomly disappear.
Quite an annoying bug that makes proper arranging of MIDI regions in PT impossible.

As a work-around, try switching from Tick to Sample and copy again.

I spent lots of words on this forum about this annoying bug. And I'm wondering how other users do when arranging midi material. I am forced to switch back and forth between PT11 (that is not affected) and PT 2018/2019

This is annoying. I am forced to record the region to an audio track. Then I take the audio track and copy/repeat it. Of cause you can't change the sound when mixing with the instrument plugin. But I try my best to be creative.
