Default My PLUS questions

A moment of your time, oh knowledgable ones...

I've got my email so I can get my free upgrade to PT7 (Yippee! ).

I don't have an iLok or the funds to get one just yet, but I figure it's only a matter of time before I need one, so; as the PLUS option is only £15 for me (simply fantastic) I'm gonna get it. However, is it possible for me to buy and download it and then just hang on to it until I get an iLok in the near future? I don't want to miss out on the deal.

Also, does anyone know if it's possible for me to download the upgrade now, while I'm deciding, and then get my PLUS option afterwards, or does it all have to happen at once?

Many thanks, friends.

Sonny

You can set up a free account at iLok.com. That way you can get the 2 plus plugins and the authorizations/assets will be on your ilok account waiting for you to download them to your ilok. If the plugins don't heve an expiration date (which I know DINR and Pultec don't), they will stay on your account indefinitely. I even have demo auth's on my account that have been sitting there for months that I haven't used yet.

So in short, yes you can buy the 2 plugins even though you don't have an ilok yet. You just need an account at iLok.com. BTW, Digi will need your iLok user name when you purchase the plus plugs so the assets can be sent to your iLok account.

You could actually wait till Dec. 20 if you wanted because the offer is good until then.
