Here is a crash report, I can't read it but some of you can, right? I need to get this working.

Not going to be of much help here because I definitely have had this recently... a lot. But I have been able to import tracks on a new session though, so I figured they were just corrupt sessions.

I would try importing one track at a time and saving each one... hassle, I know but it might help you narrow down the problem. Also, I would go in your IO setup and check all of your sub-bussess, make sure they're configured properly... I've noticed some real bugginess here, like bus assignments just mysteriously MISSING!

Way to go Digi! :P

I think I "kind of" got the session copy working... I left the original session be and hacked away with the "copy of" version. I did a "save as" of the "copy of" and deleted ALL tracks from that new version. I got an dialog of "do you want to delete the alternate playlists too" and I hit yes. So what I had now was an empty session with bunch of files in the regions list but some were deleted I think as it asked for a permission. Now the empty session closed OK. And the weirdest thing is that the original "save as" session opened up ok (it should of had missed files right?) and I was able to close it without a crash. I'm a long term MIX user and this is my third month on a HD but I must say the robustness of the old PT has gone and now I feel kind of "on ice" like I did 9 years ago with Cubase. Don't like that feeling

Try a new session and import only main playlist, no alternate playlist.

OR

Expand the session so you don't have any unused playlist, than create a new session and impost DATA.

OR

export as AAF (if you have Digitranslator), than import in a new session.
