Automation Sticking

OSX 10.4.9 Combo Update
Dual/Dual Core 2.0 Intel Mac Pro
Waves Gold 5 Intel Update
Pro Tools LE 7.3.1
DV Toolkit 2


I'm having major Automation Sticking issues. My Automation will not change from one Snapshot to another unless I stop playback. I'm noticing it mainly on my Bypass, where it is getting stuck in the ON position. (bypassing my plug ins) It works about 75% of the time so it's hard to know when it is going to crap out. I probably have 30 or so Waves plug-ins (with every parameter on) that I'm automating. Has anyone else had this issue?

I have this one session that I have to keep coming back to due to various edits/re-edits. There is one instance in the session where a McDSP Filterbank E6 plugin sticks as you describe. It "unsticks" on the second playthrough, but every time I start up the session the first time through, the bypass sticks and I've wasted several bounces because I would do a quick change and bounce out without letting it pass over that one section.

I don't know if it's a McDSP issue, a PT issue, an apple issue or what but it is certainly annoying. Haven't experienced it much otherwise.

Got the following reply from Waves:

"We are aware of that issue, the bypass automation gets stuck on Intel-Mac systems, this bug has been reported and a fix is being developed."

Just in case anyone else has this issue.
