503 - Service Unavailable error

Everything was working fine yesterday on my Pro Tools First PC. Switched on and tried to open Pro Tools this morning and it starts to load up but instead of the login screen I get the following error.

Looks like something is not right. Please contact your administrator.
503 - Service Unavailable

Tried a restart, same thing. If I cancel the message I get to pro tools but I am not logged in so it shows none of my projects. If I try to login from there I get the same message.

Oddly if I try to login to this forum with the same login details it wont let me in, the password field when I click login goes blank. I have had to create a new account to get into this forum to post this.

I have the same version of Pro Tools first on my laptop which is Version 2019.06 and I just opened it on there with the original login no problem but obviously the projects are all different.

Any ideas?

I have managed to login on my original account to the forum at least. I was putting in my email address instead of my actual user name.

Still cannot login to Pro Tools first on this PC though

I have the same problem on my Macbook (MacOs Big Sur). Also AvidLink says 'Servers Unavailable' at the top. I think this might be related?

I even reinstalled Pro Tools First but the same message appears.

Thanks. Has this just happened today or very recently.

As said mine was fine yesterday and nothings changed and now this.

Odd that I can login on my laptop though on the same local network albeit on wifi rather than a cable that my PC uses to the router.

I think the 503 error is generally a server side issue. Perhaps it will get rectified. I think ill just wait a while I think and see if its resolved.

I am having the same issue. I am new to forums too, so I hope this reply will mean that I can track any updates on the matter.

I just tried again and now I'm able to open Pro Tools First and browse through my projects. I hope it works for you too again!

Yes just come back home and tried again and its logged in fine.

As said 503 error is generally server side so hopefully just a glitch at Avids end.
