Perpetual license vs subscription
Just to check:
Pro Tools 12 perpetual license = €666 (you own PT 12.x for life?) Pro Tools 12 annual subscription (€28/month) = €666 (if you rent PT 12 AND eventual newer versions for 2 years, but you have nothing when it lapses?) Conclusion: Unless there's is a new PT version every two years a perpetual license is the winner. Unless of course you also own the versions you have subscribed to for life..? It's like streaming music. You got the biggest collection of records on earth but when you stop paying, you haven't got a single record in your collection..
