Default PTLE 6.4 Problem - Please Help

I am currently running PT LE 6.4 and I've had some very strange performance. I was importing some DA38 tapes into my system using the ADAT and and analog connections (totoal of 16 tracks recording) and my system crashed. I recorded audio for about 1 minute and the problem is that in my audio file folder the files are like 2 to 4 GB each and I'm recording everything at 44.1. Before the crash PT actually told me I was going to run out of HD space. I was able to delete all of these files except for one 2GB file. Whenever I try it says the file is being used buy another program and can't be deleted. I've tried to deleve this file with no programs running after a fresh boot and still no luck. Any help or guidence would be apprecaited.

This problem has only happed to me once but in general my system performance since has been worse since I upgraded to 6.4. Do the cs updates help?

Change the preference for Open Ended Recrd Allocation to a value less than 90 minutes... 10 minutes is the best value.. only make it higher if neccessary.

It depends on the size of the hard drive... I've given a technical explanation of what the problem is before.. do a search for +Rail +variable +rollover.
