Default Raid 5 on video files

Is it possible to use Raid 5 to share video files among various pt systems?

I mean, using Raid 5 only for video files included on pt session not audio files...

I´d like to hear some comments please

Sebastian

P.S.: I´m specifically talking about Mac´s Xserve RAID
