de activating 11 to use 9
I got pro tools 11 and non of my waves plug ins, toontrack or Omnisphere plug ins (etc) don't work. I tried to activate pro tools 9 but its greyed out in my iLok license manager. Do I have to deactivate pro tools 10/11? And since its bundled I cant use 10 and not 11 can I? I just want to go back to 9, it worked fine and I thought I was upgrading with 11

Well waves just came out with AAX support. But if you upgraded to 11, then without buying another pt9 license, I believe 10 is as far back as you can go. However 10 has been solid for me and all your plugs should work in 10. Plus there are some nice features in 10 that 9 doesn't have. In fact as long as you install pt10.3.6 or newer, you can keep pt11 installed. And play with it's new features until all your plugs are pt11 ready.

I am fit to be tied. I have sessions and NOTHING works, I would really prefer a refund and just go back to what worked. I feel like im just being nickel and dimed

I bought 9-11 upgrade bundled and I dont think I can go back to 10

im using mountain lion. I want to downgrade to pro tools 10 until more AAX stuff comes out. How do i do that. When I try to deactivate 11 to get 10 it deactivates the whole pack. do i have to uninstall 11 and re install 10?

Just run the 10.3.7 installer, then set 10 as the default app for ptx files.
