Error AE -9178

Hi,

I try to find why I got an error AAE -9178
Until now, it was working well.

I usually use Live, and I wanted to move on ProTools or Cubase. It was a long time I didin't use ProTools first and I was thinking to go for a better version.
But from nom I got this error. And it is not encouraging.
I saw answer about this in the forum, but I don't have WaveShell. I have a special folder fot my VST. I don't understand anythink.

I use a Lenovo on Windows 10 with a focurrite scarlett 2i4 and Native instrument keyboard with Komplete Kontrol (that I haven't already test on Protools).

I use the Focusrite driver, But I have also the ASio4All installed.

I am not an expert, but it is quite complicated to find any answer, and loose time to ununstall and reinstal software. By the way I have lots of VST and it is not posssible to uninstal all of them, It will take me a week.

Windows 10 is not enough information, you need to check the build number.

It does not matter, PT does not use VST and whatever plugins you wish to use with PT|first you must buy from Avid Marketplace. External installs are not working.

I just update withe the build 21H2, and I've got the same error

System Requirements say 21H1 only, but I am not a Widnows guy and cannot help you further. Sorry

Have you tried using the ASIO4ALL driver? If not, try starting Pro Tools First and hold down the N key while it is loading. When prompted with the Playback Engine, select the ASIO4ALL driver as your sound device. At that point, you should be able to use the program.
