Has Anyone Used a MBP to Control a Mac Studio and as an Additional Display?
Hi all,
I was considering upgrading my M1 Max MacBook Pro to the M4 Max MBP, but then I thought of waiting for the M4 Mac Studio. I currently run the MBP with 2 additional displays. I'd like to keep the 3 displays, and the MBP as a backup system, so I'm considering adding the Mac Studio to the current setup. I think I'd connect the other two displays directly to the Mac Studio, and use Universal Control to control the Mac Studio with the MBP keyboard and trackpad. But can the MBP display be used as a third display for the Mac Studio via Screen Sharing or some other way? I'm thinking no. I'm thinking that would only mirror what's on the main display connected to the Mac Studio. Has anyone tried this? Thanks in advance. |
