Default OT: New Business?

I thought it might be beneficial to start a discussion on how people here go about getting new business. Do you advertise? What type of advertising? Do you network? When/where? Make cold calls? Direct Mail? Email? Web Site? Search engines? Etc., etc. What has proven to be most successful?
