Working on OS X 10.6.8 and ProTools 9.0.5/6 importing audio from CD is super slow. However ripping the audio in the finder and then importing the audio file to the timeline takes seconds. I know it's a simple work around, but ProTools should be able to do this simple function without using the hour and minute hand to determine how long it takes.
Any idea why this is so slow?
