Default Session SHUTS DOWN when enabling DELAY COMPENSATION!!!!

Hey y'all...

I have an HD3 Accel on a G5 Dual 2.7 running TDM 7.3.1.

Until yesterday I was having NO problems mixing down with Delay Compensation. NOW I try and enable it on my sessions and it tells me it will save the session for me and restart it after I set the desired DC settings.

Well, it shuts down the session (at least it DOES save it!!!) but also shuts down PT and DC is not enabled in the session when I manually reopen it.

ONE OTHER NOTE: These are sessions I received from a producer using 7.4. Could that be the problem??? Incidentally, sessions I import from this guy usually have a crazy start time... like measure -400!!!! MINUS 400?

Thanks for any help you can be...

Oh and I tried creating a new session and importing all the tracks to get rid of DIGI VOODOO... no dice...

Thanks!

Tony

Hi,

I would open a new seesion with no tracks and try to enable delay comp on that session!! if successfull then use import session data to import the session you received.

Make sure all the plugins are 100% compatible with your rig! many many problems are caused by incompatible plugs.

All version 7 sessions should be compatible so that should not be your problem!

The troubleshooting thread is here and details all the things to do when having problems...

Let us know how it goes.
