Default Best method to export Strike performance to be used in new session?

Hey guys,

Forgive me if this has been posted before, I didn't find it. I'm having trouble importing Strike midi from an older session and being able to have Strike recognize that midi data/pattern.

I'm wondering if someone has a particular work flow that incorporates the Strike kit/style/mix and midi data of an existing session into a new one.

thanks
