Default USB into Pro Tools

I purchased a Boss eband JS-8 guitar effects unit wich has a cool feature for re amping. It needs to connect to Pro Tools through the USB input on My PC.
I downloaded and installed the incuded drives from boss but, Pro tools does not reconize the software and I'm lost as how to get this working. I appreciate any info to get this going.
Thanks Ken

Default Re: USB into Pro Tools

Unless you have PT9, there is no way to route audio via the USB connection. Previous versions of PT simply won't recognize any IO that is NOT part of a Digi/Avid interface.
