White Noise when \"recording\" into Logic via MBox
Anybody having issues with this...I'm not a Logic guy.....just throwing some musical ideas together w/ loops, etc.... When trying to record guitar into Logic (via MBox1), all I hear is a blast of white noise....Everything seems to be routed properly in the software. Am I overlooking something???
Thanks for any help you can offer.

More information is needed - Pro Tools version, OS version, Logic version, etc.

are you using a usb extension to extend the existing usb cable hooked up to your Mbox? I found the same problem when i used a usb extension. If you are not using an extension, sorry but posting your OS version, computer, ect could help determin your issues.

Please start with the steps in the OS X Setup and General Troubleshooting sticky at the top of this forum, specifically those areas on trashing preference and database files.

Still get White Noise as soon as I put Logic into record...I trashed prefs, etc....just as specified on the link digi support referenced.

Ah, I missed that you were only on 7.1.1 - you need to install the cs1 update (well, now it's cs2) as it fixes this specific issue with core audio.
