No offline bouncing ???

Today bought PT 10 just ONLY because of this.

I am dreaming. PT10 is small upgrade bugs for PT 8 which should have been included in PT8.

I am sure offline bouncing is reason for next $2000 upgrade.

I hope 2020 should be finished.

Yeah valid points, however I can see the day when all the true-ist's will say - for best audio quality u will only have to real time bounce!!! Just wait, it will come trust me

Of course if u have external hardware u will have to anyway but that's the point right !

Inform yourself first, buy then (or not). It has never been a secret that PT has no offline bounce...

Offline bounce hasn't been available because the dedicated hardware for HD systems couldn't perform an offline bounce, at least that's my understanding. It's a huge feature request that hopefully will be incorporated into PT 11.

native system can be used with offline bouncing. Cheapest DAW prove it.
plugin delay compensation has been forbidden for years on native and suddenly it works. it's just politics

RTAS and DAE was not able to do offline bounce. why should this be politics?

Yes they can develop a new plugin format that does not have this problem, ditch that plugin format and release a Pro Tools version with that legacy baggage. Whoa, just like they are doing.

This is one of the things that has been talked in the past quite a lot and is an issue with the RTAS plugin format. Get rid of the need to support that and then Avid can do things like this. So wait for Pro Tools 11 at the earliest. A complete waste of time complaining about it for existing Pro Tools versions.
