RX Connect / PT Playback issue

I've been having this issue for a while that I have been putting up with.

When I do a izotope rx connect round trip sometimes my playback in PT sounds modulated like the audio is going though a really fast tremolo. The only fixes I have is restarting my session or changing my H/W buffer size.

I'm on Mac OS 12.6 and PT version 2022.10.0

on and iMac Pro (2017)
