Hold Modifier keys?

Hi! I am trying to program a soft key to "export selected". I don't see it in the EuCon commands list so I tried the key combination of "shift/command/k". This doesn't seem to work as it doesn't recognize holding the modifiers down. I notice the "hold" checkbox is greyed pout. Any way to do this? Thanks!

Works here on this end. Is yours set like this? "Hold down" has always been greyed out for me. Not really sure why it's there.

Thanks. That looks exactly like what I did but it simply does not work. Is there another setting somewhere that I'm missing?

That seems odd. What's your setup? hardware/software

Yes, actually no key commands work at all, only the EuCon ones. I am running PT Control on an iPad Pro iOS 13.2, MacBook Pro w/ Mojave 10.14.6, PT Ultimate 2019.5.0 and EUcontrol 19.9.1.17. Reinstalled all apps with no luck. I saw some much older posts mentioning similar issues but they were never answered so I'm lost at this point. Thanks!

Ok, finally got it working. Turns out "MC Client" was not checked in the security/accessibility prefs pane. Had Eucontrol checked but not that one. Thanks!

Glad you got it sorted. That's a new one on me. I'm still on 19.7.0 and don't have MC Client in the Privacy/Accessibility tab. Just PT and EuCon. More so, I thought it was an older app. Weird.

After disassembling EuControl and investigating the actual functions myself, I can tell you for certainty that the "Hold Down" checkbox does nothing at all, even if we manually edited the XML. :)

There's simply no way to get it to hold down a specific key (unless it's a modifier key), we can only repeat keys. Which unfortunately doesn't work for numpad shuttle.
