lost tracks, urgent help needed: Thanks
Hi, I deleted some tracks by accident.
I saved the song , so there is no way I can do the "import tracks " trick. But the regions are of course still in the region bin. Is there an easy way to get these regions back on their original place ? ( there are lots of small bits ) Thanks |

Re: lost tracks, urgent help needed: Thanks
sure. drag the regions to a track, click on "spot" then touch em with the hand tool. there is a method for spotting them right from the regions list too. option drag maybe?

Re: lost tracks, urgent help needed: Thanks
did you have autosave on? is so, simply import the tracks from an earlier autosaved session in the session file backups folder. otherwise, if the regions on the deleted tracks were recorded on those tracks, they will have a time stamp so you can spot them back into place. If not, and you didn't time-stamp them, i am out of suggestions i think. Best of luck and use auto save! pt 6.7 turns it on by default, finaly.

Click in spot mode doesn't do the trick.
Do I need to have the original track name created ? Or is there something I'm missing here. ? |

you have to place the regions on the track then click on it with the spot mode selected. you may have to turn auto spot regions on in the operations menu.

If you haven't moved the audio after it was recorded then you can, in the spot dialogue, click on the arrow next to the original time stamp, to place the audio right where it was recorded.

Re: lost tracks, urgent help needed: Thanks
Ok thanks all . I'll try that out
Isn't there a trick where let's say , create a few new tracks, and grap drop all of the regions at once from the bin, and drop them in the session, so they could jump to their original position ? |
