recently i went through a conversion to USB from Serial on my rackmounted 9600.
all was working beautifully until i tried to get to SC from ProTools or Logic Audio. nothing but hassles. stried updating to 3.0, re configured OMS and everything else. nothing but stuck notes and a headache, and a highly unimpressed client. digi support was not helpful, however, the folks at emagic suggested that i try switching back to serial port action. i did and it is just fine now. why won't this work via 3rd party USB cards? anyone know? is there a workaround? dss |
