Plug in chain Console question
Hope this is the right section. Anyways so I see these SSl or any otherconsole plug ins and I was curios if you have a gtr track you like with amp model software or maybe it was a EQ and a compressor and you like that over all sound. If you wanted to try to get the Console sound would that be ok to put that plug in after ? I am thinking of it as that is my source. Hope that makes sense.

Re: Plug in chain Console question
having a good education in signal flow and analogue routing is a good thing.
however it's 2021 and why would we like to reproduce every old school technique ITB - do whatever you want and make unusual chains, be creative

That said, put it wherever you want. If you like it, cool. If not, try something else. Signal chains can make huge differences in the sound because of how they feed from one to the other. Just my opinion.

Re: Plug in chain Console question
Let me ask it like this. Say your the guitar player, you add what ever you add t make your sound. That would be your source correct. If you were going to a real board you would then input into the board. I want to see if this s the same process using console software.
