Holidays + Work on PT8, suggestions

Hi, I currently work on PT8 LE bundled with my Mbox2 Pro Factory.
I own a MacBook Pro and I'd like to keep on working on my projects when I'll be far from home.

Can I run PT8 on the MacBook with the iLok and without the Mbox2 Pro?

and, if not, if I buy a Micro can I run the plugins that I have because of my Pro Factory?

You need the Mbox2 or the Micro to run PT8. You need iLok to run the Factory plugins.

As long as you have all your plugin iLok assets in order, you're fine with the plugins.

so basically my iLok will have authorization for both ProTools and for all the plugins, am I right?

PTLE doesn't use the iLok for it's authorization, only certain plugins use it.

Pro Tools just don't work without digi hardware so essentially it's a dongle in itself, albeit a large one.
