Default Cant start PRO TOOLS FIRST

I'm new to PRO Tools, and have installed PRO TOOLS First on my Windows 10 PC with a and MTRACK DUO as the sound interface. I cannot get Pro Tools past the opening screen as It gives and error with the default template from the dashboard screen. If I uncheck the create from template box, PRO Tools brings up a project screen for two seconds, then just closes. Can anyone help please?
